The TALLADEGA NIGHTS stars team up again to play in a newly version of SHERLOCK HOLMES reports Variety. BARON COHEN (ALI G., BORAT) will play Holmes whereas FERRELL (ANCHORMAN, BLADES OF GLORY) will be his crime-solving partner Watson. Script is written by ETAN COHEN (TROPIC THUNDER) and JUDD APPATOW (SUPERBAD, KNOCKED UP) will produce the flick.
80's Flashback: In 1985 STEVEN SPIELBERG produced a BARRY LEVINSON (MEN IN BLACK) version of Sherlock Holmes called YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES, which was a mix between INDIANA JONES and... well Sherlock Holmes. If you happen to missed it, you better rent it NOW. It kicked ass!
