CHRISTOPHER NOLAN'S DARK KNIGHT is on a record breaking rampage. The movie is breaking almost every record there is, grossing $ 66 million on its FIRST day. SPEED RACER took $ 40 million until today... do the math.
THE DARK KNIGHT is very likely to break every Box Office record that has ever been. But that's not all. The movie took the number one spot at the IMDB Top 250 list, scoring an average user rating of 9.7 (24.000 votes thus far) making it the best movie of all times according to the largest movie community on earth.

According to Variety THE DARK KNIGHT grossed a total of $ 155.3 million on it's first weekend, making it the best opening movie for a three-day-weekend of all time and beating SPIDER-MAN 3 who grossed $ 151 million on it's opening weekend.

But I think The Dark Knight will be one of the best movies, no doubt the best superhero movie, but I'm not quite sure if its really the best movie of all time.
Maybe someone, who already watched the movie can say something about the rating
